Sasha Luss, born Alexandra Alexeyevna Luss on June 6, 1992, in Magadan, Russia, is a Russian-American fashion model and actress. She moved to Moscow at a young age, where she initially pursued ballet. An ankle injury ended her ballet aspirations, leading her to explore modeling. At 13, encouraged by her mother's friends who recognized her potential, she signed with a modeling agency. Despite her grandmother's disapproval, viewing modeling as an immoral industry, Sasha embarked on her modeling journey. ​

Sasha's modeling career began with IQ Models in Moscow. By 16, she walked her first runway for Alena Akhmadullina during Moscow Fashion Week in 2008. Her international breakthrough came in 2011 when Karl Lagerfeld noticed her in a Bohemique advertisement and cast her in Chanel's pre-Fall 2012 and Fall/Winter 2012 shows. Subsequently, she walked exclusively for Dior's Spring/Summer 2013 show. In the Autumn/Winter 2013 season, she participated in 58 shows for top brands like Prada, Valentino, Calvin Klein, Louis Vuitton, and Givenchy. Her platinum blonde hair became a signature look, enhancing her ethereal appearance and inspiring other models. In 2013, Glamour Russia named her "Model of the Year." ​

Her subsequent roles include Jamie Decker in "Shattered" (2022), Diamond in "Sheroes" (2023), Louise in "The Last Front" (2024), and Hana in the science fiction thriller "Latency" (2024).
